QQQQ vs. XLK

Two of the most popular technology ETFs are QQQQ and XLK. The quadruple Qs track the Nasdaq 100 index, while XLK tracks the S&P 500 Technology sector. As shown below, these two ETFs have taken divergent paths so far year to date. QQQQ is up 5.77% while XLK is up just 1.05%.
